Valles Alpes looked like a dark needle laying on a flat table. There was little indication of Montes Alpes.
Around 2100 EDT I was able to see Virgo naked eye
And in the scope I was able to see 69 Vir on one edge of the FoV and the Moon on the other.
I had more people stop to look through the scope here tonight than normally stop up at MO. I had about a half-dozen adults and a similar number of kids look and more unescorted kids who were too small to reach the eyepiece who wanted to look.
