NOAA radar says it is raining but I am seeing more stars than i have ever seen here previously.
It is nearly Last Quarter and both the Black cat in the Moon and the Black sheep in the moon are still visible. I expect the cat will disappear, or at least partially so, on Tuesday and the sheep will hold on for a few days beyond that, probably longer than my the Moon's rise time and my local horizon will allow me to observe it.
