Marcos got his Galileoscope and has assembled it but can’t see anything with it so left it with me this morning to make sure he had it put together correctly. While sitting in his car I looked at a Times Square sign and got a nice sharp view so suspect that is problem was either that he didn’t have his eye centered over the small exit pupil of the Galilean eyepiece which he had installed, or that he was looking at a patch of sky where there were no stars in the <h;1.5° FoV. I have the scope to examine and make sure that they lenses have been installed pointing in the correct direction and will take it out to look at the Moon if it is clear tonight.
