I am partial to creating links that open in new browser windows or tabs. But while working on another bolg I found that the technique I have always used no longer worked. I don't know if it is something with the template on that blog, something that Blogger has implemented across the board, or if the target=_blank" attribute of the a href HTML tag has been disabled in HTML5. I have found the preferred way to use this unpreferred way of doing things for that blog and am assuming that it will work here as well. But there are too many links that would need to be edited in old posts so they may be broken or not work as intended.
