Although NASA said on Monday that damage sustained to buildings at the Cape, like the mission control building, might delay the launch of the HST Servicing Mission as of today it is still listed on the NASA web site for launch on 10Oct08. The actual launch date will not be determined until the Flight Readiness Review meeting on 2-3Oct08.

There will be an IMAX movie made of the HST Servicing Mission.

The rollout of Endeavour to Pat 39B to serve as the On Demand Launch Vehicle for a rescue mission to Atlantis has been delayed until midnight tonight because of thunderstorms in the area of the Cape.
